As if Google Docs couldn’t get more cloud-injected and internet-ethereal…. There has to be this Android app called GDocs to make it go supersonic. You can think of this app GDocs as the ultra auto-attendant of the word-processing arena. And there’s no beating it (thank you, Google).

Review: The SAP Travel Expense Report Does Not Sap Our Strength Here
Aaaah, yes — those geniuses at SAP Global. Since they had jumped onto the mobile app bandwagon for businesses, things have been quite peachy for the heavy hitters, Android and iPhone/iPad. Particularly for mobile businesses — entrepreneurs constantly on the move — the app from SAP (rhymes) called the Travel Expense Report brings a kind off convenience unheard of.
Review: LogMeIn Ignition Turns Me On
Okay, no x-rated or NC-17 or even R-rated stuff here. When I say “turn on,” I mean “sync in,” or “log on.” I guess. Whatever the case, this app turns me on! It’s an awesome app for the Android or iPhone called LogMeIn Ignition. One thing to keep in mind, though — this app is probably best efficient with tablets.
Review: WhiteBoard Capture Has Captured Our Hearts
There’s something nostalgic and very corporate about a whiteboard, isn’t there? For those old schoolers out there, you just can’t beat the good ol’ marker and board while you wear the nifty plaid tie and shirt as you pep up your marketing or advertising or whatever team for your small business, whatever that business may be. Has that flair of teamwork, don’t you think?
Review: Does Venmo Touch on a New Aspect of Small Business Finance?
Trust is a big issue when it comes to small business. Imagine the quality of customer retention when businesses rely on “trust” in dealing with finances and payments. That’s what Venmo seeks to attempt — and this is an Android and iPhone app we’re looking at. Okay, wait a second…. What about apps like iSwipe, Square, even PayPal?
Review: PrinterShare Is a Timeshare of Luxury for Businesses
Bluetooth really is a beautiful thing — especially when you have the power to turn a printer possessed, sort of like Transformers. Let’s roll out, Optimus Prime!
But, seriously, with the age of technology skyrocketing into unknown atmospheres of ethereal quality, you can imagine small businesses and entrepreneurs licking their lips at the next innovative application to grace the halls of the corporate world. This is the way it is with one specific Google app: PrinterShare.
Review: FormLizard Is Less Than Perfect Form
Such is the high expectations for business apps these days, and this particular one is no exception. What would you expect? This is, after all, the Google Apps Marketplace! We have to be tough here. Of course, the auto attendants and call centers of our corporate world would lynch any sub-par app out there only seeking to clutter up the space in a smartphone, laptop, or desktop; but at the very least, this one business app does have potential. It just needs a little bit of tweaking.
Review: Does “Yahoo! Small Business” Cut It in the Online Corporate Marketplace? Ask Google….
See? This is why small business is going global in a big way. We’ve got the Google Apps Marketplace. And we’ve also got this tough contender called “Yahoo! Small Business.” Ah, the choices, choices, choices. As efficient as are trusty call centers and auto attendants are, even they would implode from the sheer stress of having to pick a certain marketing/e-mail/advertising platform.
Review: Manta Is Massive, But Is It Massive Enough?
Yeah, I know — I’ve been reviewing apps since I was in diapers, but every once in awhile I like to deviate from the natural order of things and give credit where credit is due when it comes to small businesses.
Instead of apps for this review, we’re going to focus on a social media site! It’s called Manta. And needless to say, I’m about as impressed with this site as I am with an auto attendant handling all the voicemails and call centers taking all the calls — finally a social site devoted to small businesses, doing what they do best.
Review: Gliffy Gets Things Done in a Jiffy
I tell you — rarely is it possible for a Google app to impress me. And wouldn’t you know it — it takes an app that simply focuses on usability. Nothing fancy. Nothing revolutionary. Just usable! The app is called “Gliffy.”
