Halloo implements Traffic Shaper for new VoIP clients

There are many moving parts involved with implementing a quality business VoIP phone system. Halloo has been testing new technologies that would give our customers a clear advantage over their competition, and have found that advantage with the EdgeMarc router.

The EdgeMarc is a SIP gateway router that serves the same great benefits our more expensive, MPLS bandwidth network partners strive to deliver. The EdgeMarc router offers NAT translation (private, secure IP addresses for each telephone), built–in firewall, and prioritization of voice traffic over traditional Internet traffic.

These routers are purchased by Halloo business VoIP customers or their Certified Agents, and configured and managed by Halloo. That way, Halloo can monitor voice quality and implement changes or fixes quickly and proactively.
