Are you looking for sources of quality information to inspire your small business development? An education committee of the Division of the American Library Association entitled Business Reference and Service Section (BRASS) develops a list of the best small business websites. Sites are categorized as government or additional and briefly described.
In November 2013, BRASS selected 13 websites tailored to encouraging or supporting small businesses. The sites provide information and tips about business growth, leadership, entrepreneurship, and best practices.
Here’s a sample of some of the reference websites that made the small business list:
- U.S. Small Business Administration
- Office of Women’s Business Ownership (a subdomain of the SBA)
- Bloomberg BusinessWeek Small Business
- Idea Café: The Small Business Channel
