Surcharges and International Rates

The following Surcharges and Rates are valid for all virtual Halloo service plans; International calls may be subject to credit evaluation and may not be available to all customers.

Current Minute Surcharges

The surcharges listed below apply to all calls other than those between the lower 48 U.S. states:

Please note that:

• Calls to and from the regions listed incur these charges in addition to your regular plan or out-of-plan minutes charges.
• In the event that you receive a call from a number in one of the regions listed above, which is then forwarded by your Halloo system to another number in the same region, you will be billed only for the “Outbound,” or forwarded leg of the call. Therefore, the “Outbound” surcharge will be the only one that applies.

Pay Phone Surcharges

All calls placed from a pay phone to your toll-free number OR forwarded to a pay phone from your Halloo system incur a $0.75 per call surcharge. This charge is imposed by the owner of the pay phone and billed to you through us.

• In the event that you receive a call from a number in one of the regions listed above, which is then forwarded by your Halloo system to another number in any of the regions region, you will be billed both for the “Outbound,” or forwarded leg of the call and for the “Inbound,” or calling leg of the call. Therefore, two rates will be applied per minute.

Pay Phone Surcharges

All calls placed from a pay phone to your toll-free number OR forwarded to a pay phone from your Halloo system incur a $0.75 per call surcharge. This charge is imposed by the owner of the pay phone and billed to you through us.

Non-Call Completion:

Interstate/INTRAstate $0.10 per call
International $0.60 per call
NRC to be paid by Customer if Customer’s domestic and international Non-Call Completions exceed 10% of Customer’s Toll Free Usage.

80/20 Overflow surcharge: $0.04 per minute

If more than 20% of Minute Usage originates or terminates in access areas other than those operated by the following Local Exchange Carriers: Bell South, NYNEX (Verizon North), Bell Atlantic (Verizon South), Southwestern Bell Telephone, Ameritech, Qwest Communications, Cincinnati Bell Telephone, Southern New England Telephone (SNET) and Pacific Bell (collectively the “RBOCs”), Halloo will add a surcharge to all non-RBOC Customer calls in excess of the 20% threshold.
