What Instant Messaging services are supported? (e.g., AOL, Yahoo, MSN)

Currently, the major IM service providers do not themselves support the Jabber protocol. However, many Jabber compatible clients are capable of connecting to multiple systems, including AOL, Yahoo! and MSN. Visit the official Jabber Web site at www.jabber.org for more information on Jabber compatible client software.

If you do not currently use instant messaging, you are free to use any Jabber compatible client, without worrying about compatibility with legacy IM services.

Free Jabber accounts are included with each Halloo plan, so if you don’t already have an account set up with another service, you may use the Halloo Jabber service.
