What is the difference between an auto attendant and ordinary voicemail?

An Auto Attendant is similar to Voicemail in that both features greet callers with a prerecorded outgoing message. However, an Auto Attendant allows the caller to interact with the system through touch tone key press events which direct the caller to additional prerecorded information, or transfer callers to users within your company.

The Halloo Auto Attendant can route callers to one of any number of individual user extensions (up to the limit of the service plan). Each user extension includes its own voicemail box!
