What audio file format can I upload for use as a greeting?

You may upload audio files to My Halloo for use in your auto attendant and voice mail greetings. Make sure that your audio is in one of the following formats:

• MPEG Layer-3 — “.mp3”
• CCITT μLaw, 8kHz, 8-bit, mono — “.au”
• PCM 16-bit, 8kHz, mono — “.wav”

If you aren’t sure what these file types are, don’t worry! The standard audio recording software that comes with Windows (Windows Sound Recorder) will ask you for the above parameters, and will automatically generate the correct file type.
