Click-to-Record - what could be easier?

The easiest way to record a mailbox greeting or an auto-attendant menu is to use this feature.
First, you need to have a phone number associated with your extension. At the top of the page on the left side it says Fwd. with a box next to it. The box has a triangle on its right side. Click on the triangle to see or select a phone number.
Want to add a new or different phone number? Click on My Halloo (unless you are there already). Click on User Settings on the left side. Click on the Forwarding tab. Enter a phone number into any box and click on Save Changes.
To make a recording, click on a red button, either on the extension's Voicemail tab or in an auto-attendant menu. If you want to use the phone number that appears there, just click on the red telephone, (the Dial button). If you want to use a different phone number, click on the little triangle and select it, then click on the Dial button.
Your phone will ring, and when you answer it, it will play the audio file that is in place, then tell you what to do (accept it or replace it).

That little red button? Is that the same one for menus as for my outgoing message on my voicemail? I did not realize it was so simple.

That's right, Arthur! All the red "rec" buttons behave the same way: you click, chose your phone number and Dial, answer your phone and listen for instructions.
