How can I turn off my Halloo Auto Attendant?

For example – If a customer calls my halloo phone number, I just want the call to immediately forward to another number so I can answer it without the customer going through the prompts. How can I make this happen?

I only want it to temporarily happen. Then I want to turn the auto attendant back on.

Thanks,

Chris,

Go to your x00 auto attendant and click "New Menu" to create a "Silent" menu with no audio. You will have to type a space in the text box so that the system won't complain about a blank field. That will create a menu with 0 seconds of audio.

After you do that, create a "New Event" for that menu with a 0 second timeout, and then transfer to the extension that you want.

Finally, set your auto attendant "Default menu" to the newly created Silent menu. And voila! Your system will transfer your calls directly to an extension. You can of course change your system at any time by changing the default menu.

Hope that helps.
