Hunt Group Central

A good auto attendant routes your callers through to the right department or information quickly. Do's and Don'ts for good menu design and great caller experience.

Can I have calls go directly to a huntgroup?

Postby admin+TCOD on Mon Oct 01, 2007 10:11 pm

I am concerned that my callers have to wait before they get connected. I would like to have them go directly to a hunt group. How can I do that?

Sure, that's no problem. Add a TIMEOUT event your your default auto attendant menu with a 0 second delay. If you want to jump immediately to the hunt group with no introductory message, then set the message to blank.

To blank out the audio of your default menu, click "Properties" and then type "." (period) into the Message area. That will record a 0.0 second blank message.

Hope that helps!
