Review: PrinterShare Is a Timeshare of Luxury for Businesses

Bluetooth really is a beautiful thing — especially when you have the power to turn a printer possessed, sort of like Transformers. Let’s roll out, Optimus Prime!

But, seriously, with the age of technology skyrocketing into unknown atmospheres of ethereal quality, you can imagine small businesses and entrepreneurs licking their lips at the next innovative application to grace the halls of the corporate world. This is the way it is with one specific Google app: PrinterShare.

Review: FormLizard Is Less Than Perfect Form

Such is the high expectations for business apps these days, and this particular one is no exception. What would you expect? This is, after all, the Google Apps Marketplace! We have to be tough here. Of course, the auto attendants and call centers of our corporate world would lynch any sub-par app out there only seeking to clutter up the space in a smartphone, laptop, or desktop; but at the very least, this one business app does have potential. It just needs a little bit of tweaking.

Banjo Emerges From SXSW, Makes Having Your Business Online More Important Than Ever

We all know how diffuse social networks have been of late. Joining more than one is almost like agreeing to take a part-time job for no pay. Joining several can be the equivalent of a full-time job, again with no pay. But a recent attendee at the South By Southwest show-by the name of Banjo got a serious bump in their download numbers, and as a result, underscored just how important it is to have a social networking presence.

Review: Manta Is Massive, But Is It Massive Enough?

Yeah, I know — I’ve been reviewing apps since I was in diapers, but every once in awhile I like to deviate from the natural order of things and give credit where credit is due when it comes to small businesses.

Instead of apps for this review, we’re going to focus on a social media site! It’s called Manta. And needless to say, I’m about as impressed with this site as I am with an auto attendant handling all the voicemails and call centers taking all the calls — finally a social site devoted to small businesses, doing what they do best.

If your small business has already found a lot of success selling or promoting via Craigslist, then you’ll want to hear about a new app making its way to us called Tradyo. Tradyo wants to do everything that Craig and his list already does, but with a little extra push; they want to not only put it on the road, but they also want to make it social.
